
The 19th edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), premier first-class competition of the country, continued to be dogged by inclement weather as all the four matches across the two tiers are set to end in draws.
In tier one, the third-round game between Barisal and Rangpur has not seen any action and the same can be said about the tier two match between Sylhet and Chittagong.
In the other tier one tie between Dhaka and Khulna, the former ended day two on 484/7 in 140 overs with lower-order batsman Nadif Chowdhury scoring the highest 166.
No 8 batsman Mosharraf Hossain made an unbeaten 98.
Nos 6 and 5 batsmen Taibur Rahman and Shuvagata Hom chipped in with 79 and 66 respectively.
Meanwhile in the other tier two game between Rajshahi and Dhaka Metropolis, the latter trail the former by 210.
Dhaka Metro made 10/2 in 4.2 overs at stumps.
Earlier, Rajshahi were all out for 220 in 77.1 overs with middle-order batsman Junaid Siddique and opener Mizanur Rahman posting 85 and 56 respectively.
