Fizz to join Rajshahi training Wednesday

Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman will join the Rajshahi Kings squad from the Dhaka phase of the BPL 2017, informed a press release. Mustafizur was picked up by Rajshahi during the players’ draft months ago. The paceman was part of Bangladesh’s tour of South Africa and before the ODI series against the Proteas, Mustafizur got injured. He twisted his ankle on the eve of their first ODI at De Beers Diamond Oval in Kimberly and was later ruled out from the rest of the ODI and T20I series. However, the paceman is on his way to recovering fully from injury and will take part in Rajshahi’s training session Wednesday. Rajshahi confirmed that they will not rush his recovery as he is a national asset. Mustafizur was picked for the first ever T10 league in Sunday’s auction in the UAE. He will play for Bengal Tigers which will be led by Pakistan ODI captain Sarfraz Ahmed.
