“We discussed about selecting the new coach. Phil Simmons has given his presentation. We have received two more CVs for the post. They are also good. So we are getting response. We have shortlisted our candidates after [Sunday’s] meeting for the selection of the new coach. Our national camp for the next series will start from around December 27. So we have time to select the new coach. We will announce it soon,” said Nazmul.

“But new coach may come or be available after the upcoming series. In that regard, we have asked our existing coaching staffs and three captains if they can play the series without the coach. The board will give the responsibility of supervising the series to someone,” he added. Earlier, Richard Pybus had given an interview to the BCB officials Wednesday for the vacant post.
