Update : 17 Dec 2017, 10:23 PM
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan might have been dismissed for a duck but his side Kerala Kings still reached the grand finale after beating Maratha Arabians by five wickets in the first semi-final of the Ten10 Cricket League at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates Sunday. Asked to bat first, Maratha posted 97 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated 10 overs, all-rounder Dwayne Bravo top-scoring with a 19-ball 27. Pacer Sohail Tanvir picked up three wickets for Kerala. And just like the previous match, Shakib did not get to bowl.In reply, Kerala reached their destination in 9.1 overs, England’s Eoin Morgan scoring the highest 32-ball 53 for his side. Morgan smashed four fours and as many sixes. In what was a disappointing outing with the bat, Shakib was caught short of the crease without troubling the scorer. Spinner Imad Wasim and pacers Mohammad Sami and Zahoor Khan shared three wickets between themselves.BRIEF SCOREKerala Kings 98/5 in 9.1 overs (Morgan 53, Stirling 17) beat Maratha Arabians 97/9 (Bravo 27, Tanvir 3/12) by five wickets
