Bangladesh U-17 cricket team returned home Wednesday following their three-match one-day series win against their Afghanistan counterpart in Greater Noida.
The junior Tigers, who won the one-day series 2-1, were welcomed with garlands by the BCB's game development committee chairman Khaled Mahmud.
Upon their arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the youngsters in red and green headed straight to the Mirpur Cricket Academy where national cricketer Mehedi Hasan Miraz greeted them.
Bangladesh lost the first one-dayer by 17 runs before winning the remaining two games by the same margin - seven wickets.
The two teams also played out draws in the two-match three-day series but Bangladesh clinched the longer-version series thanks to bonus points.
All the games were held in Greater Noida.
