Fizz leaves for Mumbai ahead of IPL stint

Bangladesh left-arm paceman Mustafizur Rahman left here for Mumbai Saturday to take part in the Indian Premier League T20 2018. The Fizz will be playing for Mumbai Indians in the 11th season of the IPL after the reigning champion recruited him for Indian rupees two crore 20 lakhs ($3,43,000) following failed bids by Delhi Daredevils in the players' auction earlier this year.

Mustafizur appeared for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last two editions of the tournament but was released this year. The Fizz had tasted title success in the 2016 edition under the captaincy of Australia’s David Warner.
