Tamim out for two as WI beat World XI

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal was dismissed for two as his side, the ICC World XI, suffered a 72-run defeat at the hands of the West Indies in the Hurricane Relief T20I Challenge at Lord's in London Thursday.

The ICC granted the fixture international status and the funds raised from the game will be used to renovate stadiums damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria last year in September in the Caribbean.

Asked to bat first, the Windies made 199 for the loss of four wickets in their stipulated 20 overs, Evin Lewis top-scoring with 58.

In reply, the ICC World XI were bundled out for 127 in 16.4 overs, Thisara Perera scoring the highest 61 for his team.
