The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Ryan Lyall Cook as National Team Fielding Consultant. The South African coach, who has reached an agreement with the BCB to work up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales, will join the Bangladesh Team in Jamaica on Friday.
Cook is currently the Head Coach and High Performance Director of the Gary Kirsten Cricket academy in Cape Town. He is also the Assistant Coach of Hobart Hurricanes in Australia’s Big Bash League. He has previously served in the capacity as South Africa A Team Assistant Coach. Cook was also Assistant Coach of the South Africa Under-19 Team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2016 in Bangladesh.
