Opener Andrew Balbirnie blasted a brilliant unbeaten 160 as Ireland A drew the five-match one-day series against Bangladesh A 2-2 following the fifth and final game at Clontarf Club Ground in Dublin, Ireland Friday.
In pursuit of a challenging target of 284 runs, the home side reached their destination in 46.4 overs with eight wickets in hand, Balbirnie remaining not out alongside middle-order batsman Simi Singh (20).
Balbirnie hammered 18 fours and a couple of sixes in his 144-ball knock, and added 197 for the second wicket with No 3 batter Andy McBrine, who made 89 off 103 deliveries, including nine boundaries.
Seamer Shariful Islam and spinner Sanjamul Islam bagged one wicket apiece for Bangladesh A.
Earlier, Bangladesh A, batting first, posted 283 losing eight wickets in their stipulated 50 overs. No 6 batsman Fazle Mahmud and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Mithun made 74 and 73 respectively.

Fazle struck seven fours in his 63-ball knock while Mithun faced 73 deliveries in his innings, and hit nine boundaries. Captain Mominul Haque, coming in at No 3, scored 46 in 62 balls.
Ireland A seamer Peter Chase notched five wickets.
The first one-dayer was washed out before the visiting side took a 1-0 lead. Ireland A then squared the series before Bangladesh A went 2-1 ahead.
