An unplayable outfield made sure an entire session’s play would be lost on the opening day while on the second day, play did not resume before 1:30pm
Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan shone brightly for BCB Green against BCB Red in the four-day practice match, hitting an unbeaten century, but a bad outfield at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna marred the second day’s play, much like the opening day.
An unplayable outfield made sure an entire session’s play would be lost on the opening day while on the second day, play did not resume before 1:30pm.
But when play did begin Thursday, Nurul, resuming on his overnight score of 28, stood firm at one end and finished on an unbeaten 101 as BCB Green declared their first innings on 289 runs for the loss of nine wickets.
