Rain continued to play spoilsport in the youth ODI series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka as the latter brought parity in the five-match series after winning the third game by eight wickets in accordance with the Duckworth/Lewis method in Dambulla Saturday.
In the process, the Lankan youngsters made it 1-1 with the first match abandoned due to persistent rainfall.
Bangladesh had won the the rain-curtailed second game by eight runs according to the D/L method.

Batting first, the visiting side posted 114 runs for the loss of three wickets in 26.4 overs, opener Tanzid Hasan top-scoring with a 36-ball 38.
The home side were set a revised target of 161 in 25 overs but required only 16.4 overs to reach their destination, Navod Paranavithana scoring the highest 62 for his side.
The fourth and fifth youth ODIs will be held Tuesday and Friday respectively in Katunayake.
