East Zone v South Zone
South Zone walked in to bat on the final day with an imposed follow-on and 80 runs behind from the opponent East Zone’s total of 473 in the first innings.
The task to take 10 South Zone wickets for a win was tough for East Zone.
Anamul Haque started the day unbeaten on 47 and converted his innings to his 16th first-class ton, adding 133 to the total.
Opener Shahriar Nafees added 81 to the tally, while veteran Tushar Imran posted 41.
At drinks following the tea interval, South Zone were still batting on 377 for five with a 162-run lead.
