That Mahmudullah over turned out to be the turning point as Bangladesh eventually restricted the West Indies to 190 whereas at one stage, 220 was looking like a par score after a blistering start
The West Indies were cruising at the beginning following a destructive opening partnership between Evin Lewis and the in-form Shai Hope.
Lewis was the main destroyer with his free flowing of power-hitting all around the stadium, leading the Windies to a dominant position.
Captain Shakib al Hasan took the wicket of Hope (23 off 12 balls) in the last ball of the fifth over but by then, Lewis had already reached his half-century after smashing five sixes.
After Hope’s departure, Lewis continued his aggression and after nine overs, the Windies were 120/2.
But then, Shakib gave the ball to the experienced Mahmudullah and he did exactly what was needed at that moment.
The West Indies opener Evin Lewis played a destructive innings of 89 runs off just 36 balls against the Tigers in the third and final match of the T20I series in Mirpur Saturday.https://t.co/8FHh61e5wF#WESTINDIES #WEST #INDIES #EVIN #LEWIS #EVINLEWIS #WINDIES #CWI #BCBTIGERS

First, Mahmudullah took the wicket of Lewis by cleaning him up in the second ball of the over.
He then trapped Shimron Hetmyer in front for a golden duck in the very next ball.
That was a crucial over for Bangladesh as the West Indies lost two important wickets and lost the momentum.
