“I always try to score runs for my team. Yesterday the situation was we needed a boundary in almost every ball. I tried to hit and I was lucky that I scored 32 off 10 to win the match for my team. The ball came on to the bat nicely yesterday,” Shuvagata said after the match.
“Even today, we needed to score runs quickly in the end. We had four-five overs left. So I tried to score quickly and play big shots and eventually that happened,” he added.
The off-spinning all-rounder had a decent BPL for Dhaka Dynamites where he scored 93 runs at a strikerate of 136. The right-hander informed he is trying to bat with more stability now to improve his batting.
“There is not that much to prove for me out there. Earlier maybe I was moving too much while batting. Now I am trying to bat with more balanced and become more stable,” Shuvagata concluded.
Shinepukur eventually won the match by 22 runs.
