With the participation of 10 Dhaka Premier clubs, the tournament is set to roll on the field Thursday, two days after the conclusion of the men’s version of the competition.
The matches will take place at three grounds in BKSP, Savar.
However, once the Bangladesh men’s team depart for the tour of Ireland, followed by the World Cup 2019 in England and Wales, the tournament committee is mulling shifting some matches to Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The committee has already written to the BCB grounds committee over the allocation of ground at SBNCS.
The Dhaka women’s league was earlier delayed due to insufficient grounds.

The grounds in and around Dhaka have been busy hosting first the Dhaka Premier T20 League, followed by the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.
Though the women cricketers have been kept busy with domestic cricket, there has hardly been any action in the international arena.
The last time the Bangladesh women’s team had played an international was during the 2018 World T20I in the West Indies.
The scheduled tour of Pakistan in July this year was also called off by the host nation.
The BCB women’s wing is in discussion regarding arranging another tour in place of Pakistan.
In September, the eves will contest the World T20I Qualifiers in Scotland, before which the Bangladesh A team are scheduled to travel to South Africa.
