Bangladesh lost by 88 runs chasing 308 in their practice match against Ireland Wolves at the Vineyard, Hills Cricket Club in Dublin Sunday.
It was a below-par batting performance from the Tigers batsmen on a small ground and relatively good batting wicket.
Chasing 308, openers Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das got their side off to a good start as they posted 50-odd runs on the scoreboard in 10 overs.
But the middle-order batsmen could not capitalize on the good start and Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 219 in 42.4 overs.
Tamim was first batsman to get out as the left-hander played-on scoring 21 off 33 balls.

The score read 56 then.
Soon, Liton also lost his wicket in the same score (56) in the very next over after making 26.
Makeshift captain Shakib al Hasan was impressive with the bat in the No 3 position as he scored 54 off just 43 deliveries with seven fours and one six.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim made 11 while Mohamamd Mithun scored 13 in the middle stages.
The Tigers lost the key wicket of Shakib when the score was 156.
The Tigers batsmen certainly have to adjust to the conditions soon as the weather will make impact both in Clontarf and Malahide cricket club grounds where the tri-nation ODI series will be played.https://t.co/0hwdhNrdNP#CRICKET #BCBTIGERS #BCB #TIGERS #BANGLADESHCRICKET #CI

His impressive innings ended when he was caught by the wicket-keeper Neil Rock against pacer Tyrone Kane.
Just two balls later, Sabbir Rahman went back to the pavilion for nought and Bangladesh again lost two wickets on the same score (156).
Mahmudullah scored 37 in the late stages but that was not enough.
Overall, it was a disappointing batting effort by the Tigers as almost every batsman got starts, settled down, but could not carry their innings in pursuit of a big total.
Spinner Simi Singh took four wickets for Ireland Wolves.
Regular captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza was rested, along with left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman.
ODI vice-captain Shakib led the side in the absence of Mashrafe.
The match was officially recognized as a List A match.
Apart from Mashrafe and Mustafizur, opener Soumya Sarkar, all-rounders Mosaddek Hossain and Saifuddin, pacer Abu Jayed, off-spinner Nayeem Hasan and batsman Yasir Ali Chowdhury were rested as well.
Despite the cold weather, the host decided to bat first after winning the toss as they tried to pile on the pressure of the visitor by scoring heavy runs on the board on a good batting pitch with shorter boundaries.

They eventually posted a challenging 307 on the board losing eight wickets in their stipulated 50 overs.
James McCollum was the top-scorer with a brilliant century, scoring 102 off 109 deliveries.
Taskin Ahmed was the most successful Bangladesh bowler with return of 3/66, while Rubel Hossain got two wickets conceding 63 runs but stand-in skipper Shakib, who grabbed a wicket, was most impressive as he leaked just 30 runs bowling 10 overs.
Farhad Reza got the other wicket for the Bangladeshis.
Bangladesh will play their first match of the tri-nation ODI series against the West Indies at Clontarf Cricket Ground tomorrow.
