Jahanara Alam notched two wickets conceding 21 runs in her quota of four overs
Bangladesh seamer Jahanara Alam put in an inspired spell of pace bowling but her side Velocity still fell agonizingly short of victory as Supernovas clinched the Women’s T20 Challenge following a thrilling final in Jaipur Saturday.
Asked to bat first, Velocity made 121 runs losing six wickets in their stipulated 20 overs, wicketkeeper-batter Sushma Verma and lower-order batter Amelia Kerr chipping in with 40 not out and 36 respectively.
Supernovas’ Lee Tahuhu bagged two wickets for her side.
