Blistering Dhoni

India’s most experienced campaigner MS Dhoni scored a blistering 113-run innings off just 78 deliveries to take control at the middle during India’s batting in the first innings against Bangladesh in Cardff. 

The knock was staggering to say the least as the veteran finished his innings with a strike rate of 144.87.

It seems he has carried his IPL form into the World Cup warm-up. 

It was a typical Dhoni innings as he started his innings cautiously and accelerated his scoring rate brilliantly in the end. 

His fifty came in 40 balls, in the first ball of the 37th over.

His next 63 runs came off just 38 deliveries, just what India needed at that time. 

The right-hander smashed seven sixes against the Bangladesh bowlers and dominated throughout his innings. 

Among those seven sixes, Mehedi Hasan Miraz conceded two, Mosaddek Hossain gave away one, pacer Rubel Hossain leaked two and Abu Jayed Rahi conceded two. 

Six of them went many rows back after clearing the boundary.
