Earlier on, after winning the toss all the first seven batsmen of Sri Lanka got scores over 20 but none could reach half century as Sonal Dinusha was the highest scorer with 43. As a result the visitors ended with a score that looked below par against the in-form hosts. Tanzim Hasan Sakib got highest three wickets for young Tigers.
After a 0-0 draw of the two-match Test series, the first match of the ODI series was washed out before Bangladesh winning the second and third match by five wickets and 161 runs respectively. The final match of the series will take place in the same venue Tuesday.
