The Tigers are high in confidence after a nine-wicket victory over Zimbabwe through the D/L method and are focusing on keeping up the momentum, left-arm pace all-rounder Mrittunjoy Chowdhury said.
The aim for the team is not only to advance to the second round of the 16-team competition, but to also finish as group champions.

“We always focus on winning. We played well in the previous game and we are trying to hold onto that. We have not played them [Scotland U19] before. We saw some of their batting videos on the ICC page. They did not play well,” Mrittunjoy told the media yesterday.
“We are hopeful. We are in a good mood after winning the first game. A player gets to play a World Cup once every four years, but you only really get one chance to play the U19 World Cup. We had a good win in the first game and are looking forward to the rest of the tournament,” he added.
Bangladesh will face Pakistan in their third and final group match at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on Friday.
