Chasing to 319 to win, Bangladesh were bundled out for just 154 in 42.4 overs. Mahmudullah was the top scorer for Bangladesh with an unbeaten 76-run innings.

Tigers skipper Tamim Iqbal was the first wicket Bangladesh lost in the second ball of third over as the left hander scored just 1 run from nine deliveries.

Then Soumya Sarker also got out scoring 1 run during fifth over. Bangladesh lost another wicket within seven overs as  Liton Kumar Das (21) was caught brilliantly at third man by Trent Boult.
