The three-match T20I series between visitors Bangladesh and hosts Zimbabwe has been brought forward by a day. Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] and Zimbabwe Cricket [ZC] through a unanimous decision on Monday decided to start the series on July 22 instead of July 23.
As per the change the three T20I matches will now be played on July 22, 23 and 25 instead of July 23, 25 and 27.
BCB and ZC agreed to adjust the fixtures in order to address the scheduling and logistical challenges that the tour’s broadcast production company was facing.
Bangladesh travelled to Zimbabwe on June end for the month long series. The tourists so far have played one Test and two one-day international matches and have won all of them.
Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe in the third and the final ODI on Tuesday at Harare Sports Club with aim of a clean sweep in the series and grab the final 10 points in offer of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
