Bangladesh national cricket team has moved to the number six position in the ICC T20I ranking. Boosted with the second win in the ongoing five-match t20I series against visitors New Zealand, Bangladesh has now put behind Australia in the ranking table.
Bangladesh has recently been consistent in T20I, a format considered the weakest for the team. They first won the away series against Zimbabwe 2-1 and went onto achieve a historic win against Australia at home winning the series 4-1.
Bangladesh started the New Zealand series winning the first game which had moved to number seven from number 10 in the ranking table. With a second victory in the series on Friday, Bangladesh improved their rating points now to 241 to take them to number six in the table.
Australia are now at number seven with 240 rating points followed by Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and West Indies at number eight, nine and ten respectively in the table.

England are currently at number one spot in the table with 273 points followed by India and Pakistan at number two and three with 273 and 261 rating points respectively. New Zealand are at number four with 257 points while South Africa are in fifth with 246 points.
