31 off 39 and 2/36 against India in 2004
Bangladesh won a historical ODI match against India, their first at that time, at Bangabandhu national stadium in 2004. Mashrafe scored a crucial 31 off 39 balls with three fours and one six and also took two wickets, Virendar Sehwag and MS Dhoni, from his nine overs. He was adjudged Man of the match later.
6/26 against Kenya in 2006
Mashrafe produced a superb display of fast bowling against Kenya away and took six wickets from his 10 overs. This is his best bowling figure in ODI till date. He was adjudged man of the match and also man of the series as he took 12 wickets from three games in that 3-0 series win for Bangladesh.
4/38 against India in 2007 WC
Mashrafe was extremely emotional hearing the death news of his longtime friend and team-mate Manjarul Islam and he produced one of the most inspiring performances in Bangladesh history.at Port of Spain against star studded India. But that famous batting line up was collapsed against Bangladesh in that group match with brilliant bowling by Mashrafe upfront. Mashrafe took four wickets and finished the innings as 9.3-2-38-4. And after a five-wicket win for Bangladesh, Mashrafe was adjudged man of the match.
22 off 25 and 2/42 against England in 2010
Bangladesh were 196 for six in the 44th over when Mashrafe came to bat at the crease in that match. Mashrafe scored a vital 22 run with the bat as Bangladesh managed to score 236 in a lively pitch at Bristol against hosts England. Bangladesh bowlers bowled well and took regular wickets in the middle overs to keep the pressure on England. Later Mashrafe took two important wickets in the late stage of the game, Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson, and eventually Bangladesh won the match by five runs. Mashrafe was adjudged man of the match. It was Bangladesh's first ever victory against England in any form of cricket back then.
44 off 29 and 4/29 against England in 2016
Mashrafe scored a blistering 44 off just 29 deliveries against England at Mirpur in second ODI of the series. Tigers were struggling as the score was 169 for 7 at one point. From that situation Mashrafe smashed two fours and three sixes and Bangladesh scored 238 in their 50 over. Mashrafe was brilliant with the ball as well as he took the wickets of James Vince, Jason Roy and Ben Stokes early in the innings. Mahsrafe finished the match with a bowling figure of 8.4-0-29-4 and later adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance.
