Tottenham finished their preseason tour of the U.S. with a 1-0 victory over AC Milan, with Georges-Kevin Nkoudou hitting the second-half winner.
Mauricio Pochettino fielded a youthful side including three 21-year-olds and three teenagers, while naming senior figures Christian Eriksen, Heung-Min Son, Serge Aurier and Ben Davies on the bench.
But his team still came out on top after Nkoudou's 47th-minute strike -- the Frenchman's second goal in successive matches after Saturday's equaliser against Barcelona in Los Angeles.
Tottenham dominated possession at US Bank Stadium, with academy trio George Marsh, Luke Amos and Oliver Skipp showing confidence and composure in central midfield. However, AC Milan had the better chances in the first half.
Suso's 14th-minute cross bounced just in front of a sliding Patrick Cutrone six yards out and, when Amos scuffed a clearance, Franck Kessie fired over.

Amos nearly gave Spurs the lead when he tackled Mateo Musacchio in AC Milan's box and watched as the ball rolled agonisingly wide of the open net, but that was the north Londoners' best opportunity of the half.
At the other end, Cutrone forced a save from Michel Vorm with a header from Suso's cross, and Fabio Borini sent a flicked header just wide.
Kessie also went close with a low deflected shot, while Cutrone was inches away from connecting with deliveries from Suso and Davide Calabria, so Tottenham were somewhat fortunate to go into the break on level terms, despite the impressive performances of their youngsters.
Yet it was they who took the lead just after half-time, with Nkoudou intercepting a woeful crossfield pass outside Milan's box, accelerating outside Musacchio and sending a rising drive into the top corner at the near post.

The Italians nearly hit straight back as Hakan Calhanoglu forced a save from substitute goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga and then sent a free kick past the post.
But Nkoudou nearly struck again at the other end, getting behind on the right side before driving his shot at Antonio Donnarumma.
Both teams made multiple changes after the hour-mark, with Pochettino introducing Eriksen, Son, Davies and Aurier, and the substitutions affected the flow of the game, with chances drying up.

That suited Spurs perfectly and, after suffering a late scare as Luca Antonelli wastefully overhit a cross to Nikola Kalinic, they completed their International Champions Cup campaign with two wins and a defeat to Barcelona on penalties.
