Bangladesh will face off against Laos as the Bangabandhu Gold Cup is all set to get underway on October 1 at Sylhet District Stadium.
Alongside the home side and Laos, Group B also comprises the Philippines, against whom the men in red and green will lock horns on October 5.
Group A contains reigning champion Nepal, Tajikistan and Palestine.
All the group stage matches will be held in Sylhet. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the last four.

Following the conclusion of the group phase games on October 6, the semi-finals will be held on October 9 and 10 after a two-day break.
Both the semis, slated for 2:30pm kick-offs, will be hosted by Cox’s Bazar’s Bir Sreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium.
The final, scheduled for a 6:30pm start, will be hosted by Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium on October 12.
