Munna treble as Comfit win big

The 5th Bashundhara Kings Corporate Football Fiesta, powered by Adex Group, kicked off with defending champion Comfit Composite Knit Limited scoring 15 goals against the rookie Step Footwear Ltd at International Turkish Hope School Thursday.

Comfit's Akbor Munna was adjudged player of the match for scoring a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, two-time Corporate Football Fiesta champ Bando Design were also off to a flying start as they defeated Team X 5-0.

Skipper Imranur Rahman was named player of the match for scoring two and assisting as many.

In the Corporate Open category, Wintex Fashion Ltd started their campaign with a 6-0 win over Save and Serve Foundation.

Earlier, Imrul Hasan, Bashundhara Kings football club president, inaugurated the tournament.
