Bangladesh qualified for the second round of qualifiers after topping Group F in the first round with maximum 12 points
Bangladesh girls were pitted in a tough group in the second round of the AFC U-16 Championship Qualifiers. The girls in red and green were drawn in Group B alongside China, host Myanmar and Philippines. Group A comprises Australia, Laos, Vietnam and Iran.
Bangladesh qualified for the second round of qualifiers after topping Group F in the first round with maximum 12 points.
The eight-team second round of qualifiers will be held from February 27 to March 3 next year. The two group champions and as many runners-up sides will advance to the tournament proper where host Thailand, Japan, North Korea and South Korea lie in wait.
The tournament finals will be held in September next year.
