A meeting of the BFF disciplinary committee led by its chairman Mezbah Uddin was held at BFF House Wednesday where the decisions were taken
The BFF has banned Bashundhara Kings defender Sushanta Tripura for eight matches, while striker Towhidul Alam Sabuj and Abahani Limited defender Mamun Mia both received six-game suspensions each due to their involvement in the physical clash during the late stages of the Federation Cup final last week at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.

The committee also decided to suspend Abahani striker Nabib Newaj Jibon for two matches.
The bans were imposed according to the BFF disciplinary code 44 and 46, stated a press release from the federation.
Sushanta was also fined Tk1,00,000 while Sabuj and Mamun were fined Tk50,000 each.

They have to pay the fines within a month.
The committee also took action against Arambagh Krira Sangha due to another clash that occurred in the quarter-final on November 8 after a controversial late goal helped Abahani beat Arambagh 3-2 in an exciting thriller.
Arambagh team manager AKM Rashedul Haq Suman was suspended from all kinds of football activities for a year, along with receiving a fine of Tk1, 00,000.
Two of the club ball-boys Rakib and Jewel received life-time bans from all BFF football events.
Meanwhile, the committee also fined three premier league clubs – Brothers Union, Nofel Sporting Club and Arambagh – for being absent in the managers’ meeting while Bashundhara were also fined for the absence of their head coach during the pre-final press conference.
