As part of the new deals, the second phase of the top-flight league will be shown live on Bangla TV from Thursday
International Sports Partner has joined hands with the BFF in a five-year deal to sponsor the Bangladesh Premier League, and other domestic competitions.
Meanwhile, TVS Auto inked a deal with football’s governing body in the country to be the new title sponsor of the premier league.
As part of the new deals, the second phase of the top-flight league will be shown live on Bangla TV from Thursday.
BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy said, “Even though the top-tier league is in its midway stage, we have found a sponsor. This is a good news for football. The money that we would get from sponsorship, we’ll distribute a big percentage of it to the clubs. The remainder of the league will be telecast live on TV. That way, football will reach the grass-roots level.”
During the occasion, ISP senior vice president Deepak Singh, TVS Auto managing director Ekram Hossain and Bangla TV MD Syed Samadul Haq were present among others.
