The bottom side of the Bangladesh Premier League, Team BJMC had a great chance to pick up their first win of the season but a late goal by Chittagong Abahani Limited denied the struggling side three full points.

The match ended 1-1 at Shaheed Bulu Stadium in Noakhali Tuesday.

The same fixture in the first leg of the league had the same result as the sides shared one point each.

Even with the point, BJMC are still languishing at the bottom with just five points from 15 games while the port-city outfit took their tally to 18 points from the same number of matches to be positioned at sixth position.

Samson Iliasu scored the vital goal for BJMC in the final moments of the first half.

He unleashed a brilliant long-range shot to find the top corner of the net after receiving the ball from a team mate.

But just when they were thinking of bagging vital points to boost their fight of avoiding relegation, Gambian striker Momodou Bah scored in the 84th minute for Chittagong Abahani.

He scored the equalizer from a goal-mouth melee following a free-kick.
