Bangladesh Premier League table-topper Bashundhara Kings continued their stay at the summit of the 13-team points table as they handed fellow newcomer Nofel Sporting a 3-1 defeat Thursday at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali.
Costa Rica’s Daniel Colindres gave Bashundhara the lead in the 41st minute before Uzbekistan’s Bakhtiyar Deshobikov doubled the margin right before the first half whistle.
Nofel hinted of a comeback in the second half when Guinea’s Ismael Bangoura reduced the arrears in the 53rd minute.
