Bangladesh secured their first point in the AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Qualifiers as they held Jordan to a 1-1 draw in their second Group E match at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Manama Friday.
Jordan opened the scoring moments before the first-half whistle from the penalty spot before Bangladesh brought parity in the 76th minute through Yeasin Arafat after a long throw by Kazi Rahat.
The junior booters in red and green, who began their qualifiers campaign with a 3-0 loss against Bahrain at the same venue Wednesday, will conclude their group phase mission against Bhutan Sunday.
