The greatest show on earth is certainly The Olympics.
The second? World Cup football?
The third? Most probably, the Champions League!
Well, a lot of people said, Sir Alex Ferguson among them; Champions League is a way better competition than the World Cup as the difference between teams are minimal in CL. I’m not going to that argument for sure!
Talking about the greatest show; another show is running through the world for more than a year and a half.Certainly, that’s not "Great" by any means, but that "show" delayed the greatest show on earth - the Olympics - by one year! How can we aside Covid-19? If it is not atrocious, we can at least say "the worst" has happened to this earth in a century!

The Champions League is knocking on the door. Just a few days left from now on. The draw has been done and dusted. Teams have known their fate.
The unfair advantage of the "away goal rule" that was introduced in all European Cup competitions since 1965 has been done with after 56 long years! And then the 5 (five) player substitution rule introduced due to the Covid pandemic last year increased to 6 (six) if the second leg or final goes to extra time.
Only home supporters are allowed to attend, that is the stadium will only be at 30% of the total capacity due to this mighty pandemic. Oops! Here comes Covid again! Well, supporters need a vaccination certificate of their own to get a ticket.
The final will take place at Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The distinct venue on Krestovsky Island was designed by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa, whose vision was for a spaceship that had landed on the shores of the Gulf of Finland.
That’s all about the rules and regulations by Uefa. You can get the details through google but here I want to say why it became so special to watch out for. Why is it so popular throughout the world despite a lot of supporters' teams not participating there? Suppose, why do Bologna, Mainz, Espanyol, or West Ham United supporters still like the Champions League despite their team not being in it? Definitely, there are reasons. Logical reasons.
Look, it’s the "CHAMPIONS" league. A league of champions. Champions from the largest leagues of Europe. That says it all. A league of champion clubs. A league of champion players. A fight of elites. The best of the best plays against each other. Electrifying atmosphere. Magical Tuesday-Wednesday nights. The buzz. Adidas made star customed champions league ball. The mascot. Surrounded by passionate football fanatics screaming their hearts out for their club wearing remarkable home and away kits. The Champions League anthem, which is nothing short of entrancing. Breathtaking skills. Sensational goals. Unpredictable results. The laughter. The cry. All these make the blood rush into your head just as fast as Disneyland’s space mountain. Adrenalin will be in every corner of your body. Is there anything more mouth-watering than that?
