A crowd of local Bangladeshis gathered at the Maldives National Stadium in Male from dawn to dusk
The expatriate Bangladeshi spectators are suffering frustration ahead of Bangladesh-Maldives SAFF Championship match as the local organizers failed to ensure adequate ticket for them, according to a message received here today from Bangladesh Football Federation.

A crowd of local Bangladeshis today (Tuesday) gathered at the Maldives National Stadium in Male from dawn to dusk. As the day progresses, the crowds also increased, but the tournament's organizers did not sell enough tickets to the Bangladeshi spectators, causing anxiety among the locals.
To ease the anxiety, the local administration deployed additional police at the stadium area. There were reported of sporadic clashes with police at the time.
A local Bangladeshi expatriate said that out of seven and a half thousand tickets, only 200-300 tickets were sold to the Bangladeshis who are staying here and the organizers' sudden decision to stop sale of tickets has caused anger among the expatriate Bangladeshi people.
It can be mention that near about one lakh Bangladeshi citizens, living in the Maldives, engaged in various professions.
