The Bangladesh Open 2018, sponsored by AB Bank with assistance from the Asian Tour, will get underway on May 9 at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka. This was announced during the logo unveiling ceremony of the tournament’s fourth edition Saturday in Dhaka.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Open organising committee and Bangladesh Golf Federation senior vice president, Major General AKM Abdullahil Baquee was present during the ceremony as the chief guest. High-profile professional golfers from Asia, Europe, America and Africa will take part in the $300,000 tournament. It should be mentioned that 35 emerging players and six amateur golfers will represent Bangladesh in the competition.
