The Bangladesh Hockey Federation Monday announced a 38-member preliminary squad for the non-residential training camp starting at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium Thursday, ahead of March's Asian Games qualifiers.
Experienced coach Mahbub Harun will be taking the responsibility of the camp as the head coach while Jahirul Islam Mitul and Mohammad Ashikuzzaman were named as assistant coaches.
The Asian Games 2018 is scheduled to be held in Indonesia from late August to early September while the men's field hockey qualifiers for the Asia's biggest regional Games will be held in Oman's capital Muscat from March 2-10.
