Bangladesh will face Oman in the Asian Games Hockey Qualifiers final Saturday after coming from behind to win 3-2 against Sri Lanka in the semi-final Thursday in Muscat.
The men in red and green went behind against the Lankans in the 38th minute but soon brought parity 11 minutes later through Romman Sarkar. Bangladesh though again conceded the lead in the 51st minute from a penalty stroke by Ranasingha Dhammika.
Romman however, scored his second to equalise just a minute later. Bangladesh registered their seventh consecutive victory against the Lankans when Milon Hossain scored the winner in the 58th minute.
Host Oman had earlier sealed their place in the final after beating Thailand 8-0.
