Mohammedan keep winning in Premier Division Hockey League

Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited maintained their winning streak in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League as they beat Sadharan Bima 7-2 at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka Friday. Nasir Hossain smashed a treble, scoring two field goals in the 51st and 57th minute and netting a penalty corner in the 61st minute. Rabbi Salehin bagged a brace for the Black and Whites, notching two field goals in the 12th and 47th minute while Maksud Alam Habul and Ajit Kumar Ghosh scored a field goal each in the seventh and 30th minute. Bishal grabbed both the consolation field goals for Sadharan Bima in the eighth and 28th minute respectively.

In the evening match of the day at the same venue, Wari Club defeated Wanderers Club 4-2. Belal Hossain and Nazim Uddin gave Wari a 2-0 lead, scoring from penalty corners in the third and 23rd minute respectively. Sameer Roy made it 3-0 in the 26th minute, courtesy a field goal, before Mustafizur Rahman Lalon reduced the arrears with a field goal in the 34th minute. Ashik Mahmud completed the rout in the 44th minute with a field goal before Lalon bagged yet another field goal in the 64th minute. Meanwhile in the third game of the day, Mariner Youngs Club made it three consecutive wins in the tournament as they beat Azad Sporting Club 7-0.
