Bangladesh Indoor hockey team conceded their second straight defeat in the Indoor Hockey Asia Cup 2019 when they lost to reigning champions Iran by 8-0 in Chonburi, Thailand yesterday.
Norouzzadeh Reza scored three goals including two from penalty corners while Nooranian Hamid netted two for seven-time champions Iran. Mirzakhanian Amirmahdi, Taherirad Navid and captain Beiranvand Behdad scored one each.
Bangladesh will face Philippines in their third game at the same venue today morning before concluding their campaign against hosts Thailand tomorrow.
