The Mirpur Swimming Complex in Dhaka is currently brimming with budding swimmers from all over the country on the occasion of the national age-level competition.
Among all the swimmers however, Zonayna Ahmed has perhaps shone the brightest with her record timings.
The 14-year old though is a bit different from the others in that she didn't come from any district or division, but from London, the UK.
Prior to the tournament, many wondered whether Zonayna, who was born in London and holds a Bangladesh passport, would be able to compete with the other swimmers.
But to everyone's amazement, she has broken seven records over two days, and clinched five gold medals alone on Monday, that too in the senior category.
She will take to the pool on Tuesday for a few events in the last day of the competition.
Zonayna learned swimming when she was six years old and later took part in the London Championship and the Essex Championship, along with a few other tournaments.
