The sixth edition of the National Baseball Championship will get underway at Paltan Maidan in Dhaka Wednesday.
Reigning champion Bangladesh Police, runners-up Bangladesh Ansar, two-time winner Sirajganj Krira Shikkha Protishthan, former runners-up Dhaka, Chittagong, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, USCD Gazipur and Community Sports Club Savar Dhaka will take part in the tournament.
The eight teams have been divided into two groups and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The details of the tournament were announced in a press conference Wednesday at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the capital.
