Seven local participants registered victories among the eight first-round matches in the Asian U-14 Tennis Championship, which got underway at National Tennis Complex in Ramna Monday.
Along with the host, India and Sri Lanka are also participating in the five-day event.
The winners in the opening rounds are Mohammad Roman Hossain, Yasin Ahad, Zubad Utsho, Mohammad Forhad Islam, Mahadi Hasan Alve, Shawon Pasi, Shanto Bepari and Zaidh Zihar of Sri Lanka.
