At least two people were injured as miscreants opened fire on the Hindu devotees gathered at a temple for a religious conference in Dinajpur's Kaharole area.
Locals held two of the attackers when they were fleeing the scene. Their identities could not be confirmed.

Bullet injured Ranjit Chandra Roy, 45, and Mithun Chandra Roy, 27, were taken to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
The attack took place outside the temple premises around 7:30pm at Dohuchi Iskcon Temple, located near Joynanda Bazar of Dabor at Kaharole upazila. The miscreants first blasted hand bombs and then opened fire on the people.
Dinajpur Superintendent of Police Ruhul Amin confirmed the incident but could not give any detail about the attackers or the motive.
On December 5, at least 10 people were injured in bomb blasts during Raash Mela at Kantaji temple in Kaharole. Police claimed that it was a result of conflict between two leaders of the Awami League centring the lease of the festival venue.
