Journalists working for newspapers, news agencies and online, television and radio and poultry magazines were rewarded for the best reporting on the poultry sector.
The award comprises prize money, crest and certificate to the journalists who participated in the competition from different media. The ward giving ceremony was held at the CIRDAP auditorium in the city yesterday.
The awards went to a total of four categories. In print media, the first prize was rewarded to The Daily Naya Diganta’s Senior Reporter Ziaul Huq Mizan while Senior Reporter of Bhorer Kagoj Tutul Rahman got the second prize. The third prize went to a Tangail Correspondent of The Daily Star Mirza Shakil and Chittagong Correspondent of daily Shuprobhat Bangladesh Bhuiya Nazrul.
In TV and Radio categories, the first prize was awarded to Gazi TV’s Executive Producer Dr M Bayezid and second prize to RTV’s Staff Reporter Maidur Rahman Rubel and third prize to Ntv’s Senior Correspondent Maksudul Hasan and Banglabnews 24.com Staff Correspondent Tahmant Ullah.
