Now that the SS18 fashion weeks have wrapped up in New York, London, Milan and Paris, foodpanda, which lives and breathes not just food but all sorts of trends, decided to share with us their favourite trends from the runway with an added twist – by matching it with the best food to fit the moment.
With previews from their upcoming spring and summer collections, the fashion weeks were full of bright colours, floral patterns, stripes and shades of pastel, all of which can also be found on foodpanda's partners' menus.
Delicious pops of colour

The Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, and Rochas runways were awash with the brightest pinks, reds, blues, greens, and magentas. But the thing that really captured the attention with these looks were their bold combos. A flavourful sushi platter from Sushi Samurai mirrors this look perfectly; the marriage of colour and food is inspired.
Creamy pastels

Pastels were a mainstay at several shows for this upcoming season, including Chanel, Victoria Beckham, Giambattista Valli, and Loewe. If you're an insatiable foodie and your mind can't help wandering away to your next tasty treat, the shades of pastel are bound to make you crave ice cream from Ci Gusta. Fancy a block-pastel look, or different pastel colours together, along with a generous helping of classic ice cream combos from Ci Gusta? Style, etiquette, appetite – you've got it all.
Waves and stripes

Let’s face it, stripes have walked the runway for eternity. It’s a trend that just doesn’t give in - and why should it? Missoni, Hermes, Balmain, and Dior have proven that stripes aren’t boring if you know how to add colour, sizes, and patterns. A classic example of this reasoning is reflected in spaghetti bolognese from La Forchetta, simple but brilliant.
