The number of Muslim refugees admitted to the US in the first half of fiscal 2018 has fallen to 1,785 compared with 38,555 in the final year of the Obama administration, according to US State Department data. The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the latest version of President Trump’s order imposing limits on travel from several predominantly Muslim nations. The first version was issued in January 2017, creating chaos at US airports. This was blocked by the courts.
