'Khela Hobe' was the Trinamool Congress slogan in elections earlier this year
Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday declared that “Khela Hobe” (the game is on) in all states of India until the ruling BJP are removed from power.
"The BJP took India to darkness, it will be 'Khela Hobe' till they are ousted from the centre,” Banerjee told her supporters during a rally on the occasion of July 21 Martyrs' Day, reports Times of India.
Congress used “Khela Hobe” as their slogan in campaigns for the elections in West Bengal earlier this year.

“We will celebrate ‘Khela Diwas’ (Game Day) on August 16. We will give footballs to poor children,” the Congress chief said.
She also criticized the BJP for their alleged use of the Pegasus spyware to breach the privacy of citizens.
"I know my phone is being tapped. All opposition leaders know that our phones are being tapped. I can't speak to NCP leader Sharad Pawarji or other opposition leaders or chief ministers because we are being spied on by [the ruling party],” Banerjee said, urging the Supreme Court to take cognisance of the issue.
July 21 is commemorated as Martyrs’ Day by Trinamool Congress, as 13 people were killed during a Youth Congress rally in Kolkata on the day in 1993.
